Mark Kendall, the guitarist for Great White, took to social media on Saturday, November 22, to share an important message about his health with his followers.
āHello, friends! Just wanted everyone to know I was diagnosed with stage 4 kidney cancer a few months ago. I wanted to wait to go public until I knew a little more about it,ā Kendall began via Facebook.
āJust to give you an update the tumor has shrunk from 13 centimeters to 8, so Iām going in the right direction with my first scan. There isnāt a cure for cancer but what I have is manageable. I have the best doctors in the world and one of them invented Immunotherapy which is the treatment Iām on,ā the āRock Meā artist continued.
āI only had to do three radiation treatments, which is a good thing! To be clear, I donāt need any financial help, but Iāll take prayers & encouragement! Iām gonna fight this thing and be okay. People in my support group were diagnosed with my exact issue up to 20 years ago, so that is encouraging! Blessings, all!ā Kendall concluded.

It didnāt take long before Kendallās fans began to send words of encouragement. āPrayers of healing and comfort, Mark Kendall! I know you can beat this! Prayers for Bridget Kendall and your family too! God Bless!ā one user wrote.
āSending prayers for your continued improvement and many years ahead of doing what you love with the ones you love,ā added another.
