For a period of time in the late-2010s, Netflix was producing some of the most compelling Marvel media, telling gritty stories of street-level superheroes. While at the box office, we had Thor, Captain America, and more fighting intergalactic battles, Netflix gave us much more grounded stories with characters like blind vigilante Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox), superpowered detective Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), impenetrable crime fighter Luke Cage (Mike Colter), and mystical martial artist Danny Rand (Finn Jones) for more earthbound, New York City-specific conflicts.
Interest has been renewed for the Netflix series since they've migrated to Disney+, particularly with the release of *Daredevil: Born Again* in March 2025. An apt subtitle, *Born Again* continues what the first Marvel Netflix show began, but it’s a revival series from Marvel Studios and will span multiple phases in the MCU.
*Jessica Jones* celebrates the 10th anniversary of its premiere on Nov. 20. To mark the occasion, EW is providing you with a guide on how to watch all of the Netflix-originated Marvel series in order.**

It all began with *Daredevil*, starring Charlie Cox as the blind, charismatic lawyer Matt Murdock, who moonlights as the masked vigilante Daredevil. Fighting crime on the streets of Hell's Kitchen in NYC, Murdock comes up against ruthless crime boss Wilson Fisk (Vincent D'Onofrio).**

This second series centers on Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter), a sardonic detective who possesses superhuman strength but hasn't used her powers in years after a traumatic incident. When a mind-controlling villain from her past comes out of the woodwork, she's forced to face her demons.

Like Jessica Jones, Luke Cage's (Mike Colter) power is superhuman strength, though Luke also has the benefit of unbreakable skin. Delving into the modern-day struggles of the Black community in America, *Luke Cage* finds the title character fighting crime in Harlem, most notably nightclub owner/arms dealer Cornell "Cottonmouth" Stokes (Mahershala Ali).
Iron Fist (2017–2018)

Finn Jones as Danny Rand/Iron Fist in 'Iron Fist'. Patrick Harbron/Netflix
While initial reviews of this fourth series were largely negative compared to the first three, *Iron Fist* is still a key cog in this saga. Delving into identity issues and legacy, the series follows billionaire heir Danny Rand (Finn Jones) as he returns to New York after 15 years with newfound mystical powers, which he hopes to use to defeat a dangerous secret society known as the Hand.**
