It’s never too late for a personal win.

Joy Behar, longtime host of daily talk show The View, is the latest proof of that.

Per E! News, on today’s episode, the 83-year-old shared that she’s down a significant amount of weight – 25 pounds to be exact. She credits taking GLP-1 medication for the movement on the scale.

“I lost 25 [pounds],” Behar said during the episode, adding that she wasn’t the only View co-host to give the meds a go. “We all did it!”

For the uninitiated, GLP-1s are medications that mimic a natural hormone in the body called glucagon-like peptide-1, the hormone that regulates blood sugar, insulin release, appetite, and how quickly food leaves the stomach. The second Hollywood got wind of the drug’s capabilities, celebrities from Sharon Osbourne to Elon Musk jumped on the bandwagon.

Savannah Chrisley, who’s filling in for Alyssa Farah Griffin while she’s on maternity leave, also got candid about tapping the medication. She revealed she lost 40 pounds. The 28-year-old also addressed the ongoing stigma around the medication (remember when Trump said this?).

“People are made to feel so much shame around doing [a GLP-1] and it isn’t,” she said. “People do it for health-related reasons. I personally did it because I was prediabetic.”

Whoopi Goldberg, one of The View’s stalwarts, added her two cents.

“I did it because I was almost 300 pounds, and I’m looking good now!” she said, adding, “We lost a ton of weight at this table.”

Though she didn’t add to today’s conversation, co-host Sunny Hostin previously shared she had used Mounjaro, to lose the weight she gained during COVID.

"Diets do not work,” Joy said, a couple of years ago while defending Kelly Clarkson, who shared that she turned to medication for help getting her body healthy. “I've been on diets, up and down, up and down. You lose it, then you gain it back.”

Earlier this month, Behar was absent from the talk show for six episodes due to illness. Glad to see she’s feeling her besst now.
