R&B singer Lloyd may have lost his footing and hit the stage floor, but at least he has a great sense of humor.
The talented singer, 39, was performing his "signature slide" during his Nov. 21 performance in Birmingham, Alabama, while accompanying Jagged Edge on their 17-city Cuffing Season Tour throughout North America, PEOPLE reported. However, things didn't exactly go as planned while Lloyd was dancing to his song, “Girls Around the World.”
In a video shared to Lloyd's Instagram page, the singer can be seen tripping over his feet and falling face-first to the ground. The video then plays the fall over and over.
“I fell, that’s what happened,” Lloyd shared in the Instagram video. “I tripped. I was doing my signature slide, it’s the coolest smoothest s--- in the show, bro.”
Despite the accident, the star managed to laugh about it.
“I crashed, bro, and I feel like all my cool points is out the window.”

When he fell, he just lay there, which made the stage crew wonder if he was injured.
“For some reason, whenever I fall, I just gotta lay there, bro,” he added in the video. “I just can't get right back up and act like, 'Oh s---.' I gotta lay in it. And that's why they ran out there.”

Lloyd Showed Some Real Humility
In the comments, Lloyd went on to say that he thinks the accident was a fresh dose of karma.
"I can’t believe this shit! lol. This almost feels karmatic. And right when everyone was gassing me up, 'oh he looks so nice,' 'his mic was ON,' 'I love him in a suit,' 'his show was rocking'… gravity sends me back down to earth lol. There is NOTHING more embarrassing than falling down in front of a bunch of people, but there is nothing better than being able to laugh at yourself and not be so serious all the time," he shared.
Fans Had Nothing But Love For Lloyd
In the comments section, fans made it clear that they support Lloyd.
"Man you still that GUY!!!! The mic is still on!!! I actually think this made you cooler to be able to see you laugh at yourself… ❤️🔥," one person said.
"Sometimes you gotta laaay yo head down somewhere," someone else chimed in.
"Happens to the best of em lil bro you got this ," said Ginuwine.
"You just being you… bonus cool points…or as the kids say, “aura.” ❤️ Did your face bounce off the monitor, and what row did the mic land?😂❤️," said Wanda Sykes.
But hey, if you'd like to watch another angle of his fall, here you go!
