Ridiculousness host Rob Dyrdek called his show's cancellation "divine timing," as he prepares to launch his next career move.
"I just want to say thank you to every single person who ever watched any of my shows. 19 years, four different shows, 2034 episodes," Dyrdek, 51, said in a video shared via social media on Monday, November 10. "Iām just so grateful. Iām grateful to MTV."
He continued, "This was divine timing. I had really evolved over these last few years. And I was growing out of having that ball cap and standing on the Ridiculousness stage and dancing. You know, shooting the television show, what I was most proud of was how deeply efficient I got."

Dyrdek -- who began hosting the comedy clip series in 2011 -- revealed he already has his next career move lined up as he prepares to launch his "time intelligence platform" Existence.
"I know that the reason I live such an amazing life and such a high-quality existence is because I account for all my time," he continued, explaining that the platform is set to launch "the same week that [his] run on MTV ends." "I created this so that everybody could easily account for their time, optimize their time, and thus optimize their quality of life."
MTV announced last month that while the series would continue into 2026, no new episodes would be produced. The half-hour series was hosted by Dyrdek, alongside Sterling "Steelo" Brim and Chanel West Coast, throughout its 46 seasons. The trio would share viral internet clips with comedic commentary.
