Talk about a memorable day at work.

Rosamund Pike dished about her most embarrassing professional moment on Thursday's episode of *The Kelly Clarkson Show.*

"On set, it's definitely when I was doing a love scene for James Bond and, you know, it was my first — I was 21, and Pierce was sort of an icon," explained Pike, who played Miranda Frost in 2002's *Die Another Day*. "He'd been James Bond in three movies."

She explained that they were doing "this sort of tumble in an ice palace and I had all this modesty stuff, that they tape up your boobs and tape every bit of you with this kind of double-sided sticky tape. I had never seen it before."

Then Pike, whose credits at the time were limited to a handful of TV projects, saw something unexpected.

"We came apart from this clinch," Pike said, "and I looked down to check these sticky things are still in place, and they were covered in hair. And I was like, 'Oh my god, I've waxed Pierce Brosnan's chest with my boob tape!' And I'm like, 'This is so bad' and 'poor guy.'"**

Clarkson commented that she would have had a very different response.****"I love that that's your thought," the "Since U Been Gone" singer said. "My thought is, 'Bro! This is disgusting! Keep your chest hair to yourself!'"**

"It was the furry rugs that we were [on]," Pike said. "And to be humane, you know, they were fake fur, and I thought that I was just getting more and more covered in Pierce's chest hair, which, if we were doing the movie now, he wouldn't have, would he?"

Pike truly does appear to have been traumatized by the experience, because this isn't the first time she's mentioned it this year.
