She said that newlywed life has been "just a dream so far"

The pair tied the knot in Santa Barbara, Calif., on Sept. 27, in front of a star-studded guest list that included Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran, Martin Short and Steve Martin

Selena Gomez is opening up about newlywed life with husband Benny Blanco.

During a Thursday, Nov. 13, interview with Zane Lowe for Apple Music, the Rare Beauty Founder, 33, discussed how her marriage to Blanco, 37, is going since the pair tied the knot in Santa Barbara, Calif., on Sept. 27.

“Congratulations on finding happiness with someone in your life you get to share your experiences with, and I’m sure it was just a wonderful occasion,” Lowe told Gomez. “But doesn’t it just get better in the days that follow and the months and the years that will follow?”

“I definitely can agree to that. It’s been just a dream so far,” the Only Murders in the Building actress replied. “And I know it’ll come with ebbs and flows, but [he’s] the most beautiful person I could do that with.”

Gomez and Blanco curated the perfect wedding night for themselves and their guests to celebrate their marriage, a source previously told PEOPLE, sharing, "There was so much love in the room."

Their September nuptials were attended by several stars, including Gomez’s best friend Taylor Swift, who shared behind-the-scenes photos from the wedding, Blanco’s close pal Ed Sheeran and Gomez’s Only Murders in the Building costars Martin Short and Steve Martin.

"At the reception, everyone was letting loose and celebrating them well into the night. The vibe was so much fun," the insider said, adding that the newlyweds were “glowing all night” and “couldn’t stop smiling."

Since the event, the I Said I Love You First musician has shared glimpses into married life on Instagram, including photos of the pair goofing around as they pulled funny faces at the camera, watching basketball on the TV and Gomez eating some mini pizza rolls — which prompted her husband to comment: “number 1 pizza roll consumer in the world.”

In the post, she also revealed that she has already put up a few photos from their wedding. She shared a shot of her shelves at home, which featured several framed black-and-white photos from the special day.

Last month a source told PEOPLE that Gomez and Blanco kicked off their life as husband and wife after their nuptials by going on a "little honeymoon" road trip.

"They loved their little honeymoon," the insider told PEOPLE. "They celebrated for days during their wedding and was on such a high. They really enjoyed slowing down, going on a road trip to explore and relax. They drove up the Cali coast and also visited Texas."

"It was perfect,” the insider added.
