Renate Reinsve admitted she and Sebastian Stan once crashed a wedding together

"I thought I would be invisible, but they were getting married because they both had seen that movie [The Worst Person in the World] and fell in love over it," she said in a recent interview

Reinsve and Stan previously collaborated on A Different Man, and will star alongside each other again in the 2026 film Fjord

Renate Reinsve is opening up about her wildest moment in Hollywood.

The actress, 37, spoke with Elle in a piece published on Wednesday, Nov. 12, and recalled a particularly silly moment from the earliest days of her career: pulling up to a wedding uninvited with her A Different Man costar, Sebastian Stan.

"Sebastian Stan and I crashed a wedding," Reinsve admitted. "I wasn't famous at all at that point, though I had done The Worst Person in the World."

"I thought I would be invisible, but they were getting married because they both had seen that movie and fell in love over it. I was like their mascot," she added.

The Worst Person in the World, which debuted in 2021, is a romantic comedy following a woman in her 30s as she "battles indecisiveness as she navigates the complex waters of her love life and ever-changing career path," per a synopsis.

Reinsve and Stan first collaborated on the 2024 film A Different Man, which saw Stan star as Edward, an actor with neurofibromatosis that disfigured his face, who undergoes a successful treatment to cure the condition. He tells his playwright neighbor, Ingrid (Reinsve), that Edward died, and assumes the new identity of Guy Moratz. Years later, Ingrid tells Edward she's producing Edward, a play based on his life.

"His new dream face quickly turns into a nightmare, as he loses out on the role he was born to play and becomes obsessed with reclaiming what was lost," the film's synopsis reads.

Following the success of A Different Man, Reinsve and Stan are once again starring alongside each other — this time in Fjord, a family drama set to debut in 2026.

Fjord meets the Gheorghiu family — including the Romanian father (Stan) and Norwegian mother (Reinsve) — as they begin a new phase of life together in a small Norwegian village. The couple befriends the Halbergs, a Norwegian-Swedish couple, and their respective children become close friends. But the Gheoghius are quickly thrown into the public eye of their small town when the family is suspected of "disturbing behavior," per Variety.
