Spencer Lofranco, the Canadian actor known for his roles in movies like *Gotti* and *Unbroken*, has died.
The actor's brother, Santino Lofranco, announced his death in an Instagram post on Thursday, indicating that he died at 33 on Tuesday. A cause of death was not immediately available. TMZ reported that the actor's death is under investigation in British Columbia.

Born in Toronto in 1992, Spencer Lofranco attended a military high school in West Lincoln, Ontario, Canada, and made his screen debut in the 2013 indie romantic comedy *At Middleton*. The actor portrayed Conrad, a high schooler who tours a college with his father (Andy García). The film also starred Vera Farmiga, Taissa Farmiga, Tom Skerritt, and Nicholas Braun.
The same year that his first movie premiered, Lofranco faced legal trouble after his involvement in a hit-and-run that left a cyclist with a broken hip. He was sentenced to 50 days community service, two years of probation, and $161,000 in restitution.

Lofranco followed his debut with 2014's *Jamesy Boy*, which marked his first leading role. The film saw Lofranco portray a young ex-convict grappling with gang violence and armed robbery, and reunited him with Taissa Farmiga. *Jamesy Boy* also starred Mary-Louise Parker, Ving Rhames, and James Woods.

That same year, Lofranco played a supporting role in *Unbroken*, the World War II drama directed by Angelina Jolie. Adapted from Laura Hillenbrand's book of the same name, the screenplay was written by the Coen brothers, Richard LaGravenese, and William Nicholson. The actor portrayed Harry Brooks, a young radio operator who dies in the opening scene of the prisoner-of-war film, which also starred Jack O'Connell and Domhnall Gleeson and received three Oscar nominations.
In 2015, Lofranco acted alongside Chris Zylka, Riley Keough, Steve Earle, and Faith Hill in the independent crime drama *Dixieland*, which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. Later that year, he costarred with Robert Forster in the short film *Home*.

The following year, Lofranco was among the ensemble of *King Cobra*, a biopic featuring Garrett Clayton as gay porn star Sean Paul Lockhart. His costars included Christian Slater, Alicia Silverstone, and Molly Ringwald.
Lofranco's final credited screen role came in 2018's *Gotti*, which starred John Travolta as the infamous New York mobster John Gotti and his real-life wife, Kelly Preston, as the crime lord's wife Victoria. Lofranco portrayed the couple's son John Gotti Jr. in the film, which premiered at the 2018 Cannes Film Festival.
The actor's Facebook page indicated that he relocated to Surrey, British Columbia, in 2021. His most recent social media post encouraged his followers to subscribe to his OnlyFans account, though it's unclear if he actually maintained a profile on the adult content platform.**
