- *Tulsa King* wrapped its third season with a whiskey-soaked firefight on Sunday, Nov. 23.
- The Paramount+ gangster drama is currently in production for season 4.
- Gretchen Mol will reportedly join the series as a Tulsa politician.
Dwight Manfredi remains the* Tulsa King* following season 3 of the Paramount+ gangster drama.
Sylvester Stallone stars on the Paramount+ hit, which was created by *Yellowstone* mastermind Taylor Sheridan, as Dwight, a gangster in his golden years who builds a criminal enterprise from the ground up in Tulsa, Okla., following a 25-year prison stint.
His operation firing on all cylinders in season 3, as Dwight and his ragtag team of enforcers, fixers, and strategists find a formidable adversary in Jeremiah Dunmire (Robert Patrick), an old-money liquor magnate (and mobster) with eyes on a fledgling distillery purchased by Dwight. The battle over the booze escalates into a full-on war that intersects with his enemies in both New York and the FBI.
So, what's next for Dwight? Will there be a *Tulsa King* season 4? Here's everything we know about the series' next big score.
Will there be a season 4 of Tulsa King?

Yes, *Tulsa King* was renewed for a fourth season just days before its season 3 premiere.
According to Paramount, season 2's debut episode was the streamer's most-watched global premiere at the time with more than 21 million global streaming viewers. In 2024, it was the No. 1 global Paramount+ Original Series.**
How did *Tulsa King *season 3 end?

Samuel L. Jackson as Russell Lee Washington Jr. in 'Tulsa King' season 3.
Brian Douglas/Paramount+
The third season of *Tulsa King* found Dwight squaring off against the violent (and desperate) Dunmire clan, as well as a vicious New York mafioso called Quiet Ray (James Russo) and an FBI agent with an ax to grind (Kevin Pollak).
It also introduced Russell Lee Washington Jr. (Samuel L. Jackson), a hitman who's hired by Quiet Ray to kill Dwight. But Dwight and Lee have history, and Lee makes an enemy out of Quiet Ray by refusing to pull the trigger on his old friend. (All of this serves as prologue to the upcoming *NOLA King*, a *Tulsa King* spinoff centered on Jackson's Lee.)
Dwight's luck and business savvy help him come out on top against the Dunmires, too. After he and his team's revitalization of the Montague distillery devalues the Dunmire brand, Dunmire and his goons kidnap Dwight's sister, Joanne (Annabella Sciorra).
This leads Dwight's crew to stage a late-night raid on the Dunmire estate, aided by Dunmire's disillusioned son, Cole (Beau Knapp). It ends with the demise of the patriarch, who Dwight sets ablaze as payback for Dunmire's many sins.
Dwight also manages to get one up on Musso, the FBI agent who says he can crush Dwight's operation if the gangster doesn't do his bidding. But Musso's story isn't done yet — as he sees it, Dwight owes him.
What will *Tulsa King *season 4 be about?

Dana Delany as Margaret and Neal McDonough as Cal Thresher in 'Tulsa King' season 3.
Brian Douglas/Paramount+
As of this writing, there's no official synopsis for *Tulsa King* season 4, though we know it's being penned by executive producer Terence Winter, the *Boardwalk Empire* creator who helped steer the first two seasons of *Tulsa King* before sitting out for season 3.
There's plenty of balls in the air for Dwight to catch when the show returns, from the looming threat of Agent Musso to the Renzetti family's bloodthirsty desire to see Dwight six feet under.
Also in the wind is Bill Bevilaqua (Frank Grillo), the Kansas City crime boss who's been absent since he was apprehended by Musso's men. His return will no doubt come with renewed tensions.
Politics is also likely to play a big part of *Tulsa King* season 4. Margaret (Dana Delany), Dwight's lover, spent much of season 3 helping get corrupt businessman Cal Thresher (Neal McDonough) elected Oklahoma governor. Now that she has a place in his administration, she'll need to navigate her loyalties to Dwight with Thresher's distrust of the gangster.
Who’s in the Tulsa King season 4 cast?

Jay Will as Tyson, Sylvester Stallone as Dwight Manfredi, and Mike Walden as Bigfoot on 'Tulsa King'.

*Tulsa King*'s ensemble has grown by leaps and bounds since season 1, and it's likely to balloon that much more as Dwight's empire continues to grow. Season 4 will likely continue to foreground the show's core ensemble, which consists of Martin Starr, Jay Will, Garrett Hedlund, Chris Caldovino, and McKenna Quigley Harrington in addition to Stallone, Delany, McDonough, Grillo, and Sciorra.
In November 2025, *Deadline* reported the first new cast member to join season 4. Gretchen Mol, who previously starred as the doomed Gillian Darmody on Winter's *Boardwalk Empire *(2010–2014), is said to be playing Amanda Clark, a Tulsa politician.**

No release date has been announced for *Tulsa King* season 4, though Stallone shared a brief clip on Instagram in mid-November of himself in costume on set at the Montague distillery.
"We're back on the set of *Tulsa King*, and this is the beginning of the fourth season," he says with a lit cigar in hand. "I can't wait, I can't wait..."
The lead-up to season 4 has not been without controversy, however. On Nov. 19, Freddie Poole, a stunt coordinator for the series, revealed to *Variety* that 26 of the show's crew members were "let go and ultimately replaced just days before cameras started rolling on season 4."
The outlet reported that none of those who were let go had deals in place for the fourth season, but Poole said that "the manner in which this was done was just unprofessional and unnecessary.”
Poole added that he was told prior to shooting that there wouldn't be a formal showrunner for season 4. Previous seasons saw Winter and Dave Erickson, both of whom were writing the series, serving as showrunners. According to *Variety*, Scott Stone, an executive at 101 Studios, which produces the series, will fill the role. Traditionally, a member of the creative team serves as showrunner, not studio executives.
Reps for Paramount did not respond to **'s request for comment.**
